Trauma Healing Club

Trauma Healing Club started as a thought at 2am and a single hoodie. I built the rest. The message, the name, the voice, the gold leaf, the apparel line, the store, the healing-method library, and the community around it. Conceived in Summer 2023. Launched by winter same year.

Challenge

No client handed me a deck. What sparked THC was a gap I kept noticing: mental-health "content" was either hit-the-gym or its-okay-to-not-be-ok. Nobody was talking to the person who googles at 2am "why do i feel like this" and pulls on their hoodie wanting to fix things themselves.

Solution

Build an education-first mental-wellness apparel brand: hoodies you'd actually wear, science-backed methods you'd actually read, and a voice that never patronizes.

Strategy & Execution

  • Named the company, built the gold leaf logo, and wrote the lowercase, self-aware voice that runs through every page and product.
  • Designed the hoodies, crewnecks, and tees, and the mockups and ads that sell them.
  • Full-stack built traumahealingclub.com: home, shop, product pages, the HEAL library, and the community section.
  • Researched and wrote the healing methods like NAD+, CBT, ice baths, supplements, breathwork, then built the diagrams that explain them using innovative branded acronym 'HEAL'.
  • Generated, edited, and cut the brand films and short-form clips that carried the voice across feeds.
  • Extended the brand into supplements, a healing journal, and accessories.
